We can be found right in the heart of Historic Downtown Benicia, just off of First Street. One of the most beautiful, oldest buildings downtown is available for your event. The BDES Hall (or Portuguese Hall, as it is known) features a spacious downstairs eating area that seats up to 500, and a large, operational kitchen, ideal for catering events, as well as a fully functional bar.

Upstairs, enjoy the grandeur of a large and elegant ballroom. This space, ideal for a large party or wedding, holds a capacity of 500 and features a large floor for dancing, or for dining tables, a very large stage and a fully functioning bar. A balcony just off of the upstairs foyer lends a touch of old world whimsy. 

There is a small parking lot adjacent to the hall, as well as ample parking on West J Street
and the kitchen has alley access.

Note: Renter will obtain a one-day liability policy to cover said event naming the BDES as a
co-insured. Renter will arrange for private security on site while alcohol is being served.
